Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election is a 2019 report by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III. Source: US Department of Justice, March 2019.
Summary
The report of the US special counsel, commonly known as the Mueller Report, was submitted to the Attorney General in March 2019 and released in redacted form in April 2019.
Volume I
The first volume found that Russia interfered in the 2016 election "in sweeping and systematic fashion" through two main operations: a social media campaign by the Internet Research Agency, which impersonated American activists and groups, and hacking and leaking operations by Russian military intelligence (the GRU). The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these activities.
Volume II
The second volume examined possible obstruction of justice and did not reach a conclusion on whether the President had committed a crime.
Relevance to Bullshitopedia
A primary source that documents a real foreign propaganda operation in detail while also rejecting some of the broader claims made about it, making it useful for entries on both sides.
